DNA testing and processing are completed approximately once per month, and results are available three to four weeks after the submission deadline.

Submission Form Requirements
Submit all sample data using the Flock54 electronic forms; handwritten forms are not accepted.

Use the preferred Excel submission form, or an Excel Google Sheet or;

If you have fewer than 10 samples and prefer not to use the Excel form, you may use the online submission form: F54 Online Submission Form

You must include the following information on each form:

Sample ID: This is the unique ID of the sample collection device. It can be the barcode on the Tissue Sample Unit (TSU) or any number that identifies that individual sample.

Animal ID or Tag#: A unique number that identifies each animal you are submitting for testing. The Sample ID and Animal ID will be paired for the entire testing process and ensure you get the correct results back.

Sex: Indicates the sex of each specific animal (i.e., Ewe or Ram).

Sample Type: Describes the type of sample that has been submitted, such as a TSU, blood tube, tissue sample, semen, etc.

Breed: Indicates the breed of the animal being submitted for testing.

Relation: Identifies the animal being submitted as a lamb, sire, or dam.

Run Parentage?: Marking Yes in this column requests that an effort be made to match your Dam/Sire submission names/BDIs to the result of the genetic test.
